Worcester Raiders Football Club, was founded in 2001 as a youth club, later forming a senior side in 2010, entering the Worcester & District League.

In their debut adult season (2010–11), Raiders remarkably won two cups: the Nursing Cup (2–1 vs Malvern Town) and the Phipps Cup (5–1 vs Perrywood), then went on to capture the Bayliss Cup in 2011–12 and retained it in 2012–13, while also becoming League Champions in 2012–13, earning promotion into the West Midlands (Regional) League Division Two.

In their first campaign at Step 8 (WM Regional League Division Two) in 2013–14, they finished third and were promoted to Division One. Over five seasons gradually improving, they achieved a milestone by becoming Division One Champions in 2018–19, scoring nearly 100 goals and securing promotion to the Premier Division.

Following restructuring, at the end of 2020–21 Raiders were transferred into Division One of the Hellenic League.

In 2021–22, they finished as runners‑up, reached the play-off final but lost, yet were promoted anyway to the Hellenic Premier Division due to Walton Casuals folding.

The club also made their debut in national cup competitions: entering the FA Vase in 2020–21 and reaching the Second Qualifying Round in both 2021–22 and 2022–23. They entered the FA Cup in 2022–23 and reached the First Qualifying Round, defeating both Daventry Town and Malvern Town before exiting vs Worksop Town.

Off the pitch, a key milestone came in the summer of 2020, when Raiders moved their senior team to Sixways Stadium, the former home of Worcester Warriors. After five years at Sixways, in 2025, Raiders secured a 10‑year lease at their original ground on Claines Lane, confirming long‑term stability and signalling a return home.

Despite being relatively young, Worcester Raiders has built a reputation for resilience, passionate support, and a commitment to reaching higher levels of the English football pyramid.
